Bridals by Lori, the largest full-service bridal salon in the country, came to Tribal Chicken for a site redesign to launch in time with some upcoming national attention. Located in the Sandy Springs community of Atlanta, this chic, bridal department store boasts an unparalleled selection of designer and private label merchandise, and impeccable customer service. All this is evident in their client list of brides and their families from all over the Southeast.
The new Bridals by Lori site needed to showcase the many departments of this store as a one-stop bridal shop, but still maintain the sophistication of this first-class experience. And they wanted to enhance interactivity by incorporating webcams.
When considering the new design of the Bridals by Lori website, the designers at Tribal Chicken drew upon their own retail experiences for inspiration. Large photographs of models in beautiful gowns in stunning locations, and shots of the showroom floor dominate the page. Occasional overlaid text adds to the stylized “magazine” look. Plenty of white space with limited type keeps the page airy and elegant.
The Bridals by Lori web site was built in HTML and employs CSS to ensure a consistent look on all browsers. The content is organized into a flat structure so users can find what they seek quickly. Tip sheets and online forms serve as additional tools for the bride-to-be and her wedding party. Likewise, the user experience is further enhanced with the incorporation of webcams (by appointment-viewing) for out-of-town friends and family members of brides.
“working with tribal chicken was a breeze. they understood the need to create a romantic-fashion forward yet functional website for our customer base. since the launch of our new website our website traffic has dramatically increased with potential customers exploring the site much longer than before. i am thrilled with our new website.”
