Atlanta (February, 2003) - Cutting edge coifs were not the only things being created at Van Michael Salon last month. Tribal Chicken Designs, a creative resources firm specializing in visual communication through graphic design, web and multimedia design, was commissioned to redesign the industry-leading salon’s website.
Van Michael Salon, an upscale salon and training center with locations in Atlanta, Miami and Tokyo, needed a website that would be as eye-catching and attractive as their hair designs. Being leaders in the salon industry, Van Michael wanted a site that would showcase their avant-garde work as well as their prominent status in the trade.
Enter Tribal Chicken‘s award-winning design team, offering Van Michael a way to present their image and information about their salon in a clear and organized -- yet highly stylish -- manner. Using Van Michael’s extensive collection of beautiful photography to drive the design, Tribal Chicken built the site by using a combination of HTML coding and Flash animation.
“Our philosophy is really quite simple: good, clear and consistent designs enhance any marketing plan,” says Benay Krissel, co-owner of Tribal Chicken. “We work closely with our clients to develop strategies that help drive their businesses.”
